We Specialize in Serving Low-Income Seniors

Grandview Retirement Center is a trusted provider for California’s CalAIM Community Supports and Assisted Living Waiver programs, helping low-income seniors access safe, quality housing and care. We are one of the few Los Angeles facilities that specialize exclusively in serving seniors on government assistance programs. We partner with healthcare and social service to provide permanent supportive housing for low-income seniors.

SSI/SSP Rate – No Out-of-Pocket Costs

At Grandview, we charge only the SSI/SSP rate with absolutely no additional fees. This means residents and families pay nothing out of pocket.

What If My SSI/SSP Income Is Lower?

We can help you increase your SSI/SSP rate to meet the NMOHC (Non-Medical Out-of-Home Care) level. Many seniors are not receiving their full SSI/SSP benefit.

For 2026, Grandview charges the monthly standard basic services rate ($1,444.07) and the resident keeps the Personal and Incidental Needs Allowance ($182).

Our team will:

  • Help you apply for the appropriate SSI/SSP increase
  • Work with Social Security Administration on your behalf
  • Ensure you receive the NMOHC rate
  • Make sure you keep $182/month for your personal needs

Important: Regardless of your current SSI/SSP income level, after adjustments you will keep $182 per month for personal expenses. The rest goes toward your housing and care at Grandview – with no additional out-of-pocket costs to you or your family.
